Suicide Prevention
Safe Messaging for Suicide Related Behavior Reintegration
About the training
This is a voice-activated, immersive learning experience in which learners practice using Safe Messaging techniques around the topic of suicide-related behavior.
In this scenario, you start by having a conversation with a team member who is returning to work after receiving treatment for suicidal ideation. Over the course of this conversation, you practice proven Safe Messaging strategies to effectively support her and reduce stigma around help-seeking. You go on to have a separate conversation with another team member who you overhear making disparaging comments about his reintegrating colleague. This new conversation challenges you to use Safe Messaging to stop rumors and protect the command climate.
