Direct Report in Crisis
About the training
Using this voice-activated immersive learning experience, develop the skills needed to connect with a member of your team to navigate intricate conversations around suicide and direct them to appropriate resources.
In this scenario, a direct report on your team is having a family crisis that is getting worse over time. Over three scenes, you practice early intervention skills to get to know your team member so you are prepared to spot when risk factors transition into warning signs. Practice a proven communication approach to effectively identify and support a direct report exhibiting suicidal behavior. Using the Ask, Care, Escort (ACE) model, learn the necessary steps to intervene in suicide.
