Training people to use AI tools safely
CommandAI is Moth+Flame's newest leadership training. Trainees work through a simulated workday with an AI assistant, and the training measures what they actually do with it: what information they give it, whether they check what it produces, and who owns the final decision.
Why it exists
People are adopting AI tools faster than they're being trained to use them safely. Annual cyber awareness courses test what people know. They don't show what people do with sensitive information when they're on a deadline and an AI tool is open in front of them.
What trainees do
- Complete a realistic work task with an AI assistant, the way they would on the job.
- Decide what information to give the AI, and what to keep out of it.
- Check the AI's output before relying on it.
- Make the final decision and own it.
What leaders get
Every session is scored, so leaders can see who handles AI safely and who needs coaching. Results appear in CommandIQ, Moth+Flame's readiness analytics, where AI-assisted assessments are checked by human reviewers.
Questions buyers ask
What is CommandAI?
CommandAI is Moth+Flame's training on safe AI use, operations security (OPSEC) and cybersecurity. Trainees complete a simulated workday with an AI assistant, and the training assesses what information they give the AI, whether they verify its output, and who owns the decision.
How is CommandAI different from cyber awareness training?
Cyber awareness courses test what people know. CommandAI shows what they actually do with sensitive information while working with an AI tool under deadline pressure.
Does Moth+Flame have other training about AI in the workplace?
Yes. The Change in an AI Revolution leadership module has managers practice explaining to a key employee how bringing AI into the workplace will affect them.
